Welsh and Surrey RA Open meetings

Hi all a bit of a shameless plug here.

The Welsh Rifle Association are holding their Open Meeting over the August Bank Holiday 24th,25th and 26th August. Format is a Queens 1, Queens 2 and Queens 3 followed by 1000,1100 and 1200 yds Match Rifle. Open to TR 'F' Class and Match Rifle. Entry forms can be downloaded from the NRA Website.
This is a good friendly meeting where hand loads are used. Hope to see some of you there.


The Surrey RA are holding their Open meeting on 15th & 16th September. Format is Queens 1,2 &3. Entry includes dinner in the Surrey RA. Cost is only £70 if you bring your own ammunition or £139 if you purchase Surrey RA ammunition.
Entry forms can be downloaded from the NRA Website or from the Surrey RA at http://www.surreyra.org.
Open to TR and F/TR.

Queens 1 is 2+7 at 3/5/600 yds
Queens 2 is 2+10 at 3/5/600 yds
Queens 3 is 2+15 at 900 & 1000yds.

The WRA and Surrey Meetings are ones of the few where hand loaded ammo for TR are allowed. I try and shoot the Welsh Meeting each year, but have never shot the Surrey. Maybe this year!

"Maybe this year!" Well, maybe not. It's the same weekend as the Midland Game Fair for which I have tickets. Perhaps next year for the Surrey.
