[quote="ptheta"]Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can get some scrap lead from in the Hants/Surrey area? I'm currently using range scrap but I'd like to get some pure lead as I'm only moulding 12g slug at the moment and pure lead is recommended for the Lee 1oz slug mould.
There is no problem casting with range scrap the bullet will be slightly harder and lighter than pure lead, you can adjust your loading accordingly
sincerely
Filippo
