Shotgun Pattern Testing - Bisley
Hi,
Does NRA Bisley have a facility / range for shotgun pattern testing ? If not, does anyone know another range / clay ground in the south east where this is possible ?
Thanks

NRA doesn't have one, BSG does.

You could book butt zero and ask for a four foot target, lot of patching 'though!

Any shooting school will have a pattern plate. Are you working on gun fit or just testing different cartridges ?

NRA does have shotgun pattern testing facilities.
There are two pattern boards to the left of skeet layout A at the top of the hill on the NCSC clay ranges.
NCSC is a wholly owned subsidiary of NRA.
Funnily enough I was asked the exact same question at work a couple of days ago.

Sorry, don't know (not a shotgunner). Try Barry or one of his staff at NCSC on 01483 797777 x 190

Get a great big sheet of card board put it up somewhere safe put a black mark in the center and aim at it and shoot it! Your pattern will tell you if your aim is off or if indeed you have a spread or pattern issue, I recommend a distance that is comfortable for you that you take clays or birds at......ide also try some 30 meter stuff too......
When someone says "it's not about the money" you know what? it probably is all about money!
