My Rimfire Magic works well and I haven't sold it but I can't help thinking that I might want to upgrade in the next few years.

I'm on my second underlever having made the mistake of buying a Winchester first. I may well buy another Marlin at some point to have a dedicated gun for "Classic" class.

Bought and sold two Lee Enfields and a 308 Remington.

Having learnt the hard way, I know have lots of empty slots and space in my cabinet rather than it being full of crap that I wont shoot.

If you upgrade from the Rimfire Magic - what would you buy?

Salut ,

I have a 22 lr CMMG AR15/M4 style. Ok, it nice but I would find really really hard to spend any more for a tricked-out one...

If you are looking at a "prepared" AR with magpul components, double check but when I bought mine, most rifles were fitted with accessories from the PTS range, basicaly cheap air-soft stuff... Might be ok for a 22lr but if you are ever intending to put a 223 upper on your lower it is probably better to get the basic CMMG rifle and kit it yourself with firearms grade accessories sourced in the US. It will end up cheaper and you will have decent kit.

On a personal note, I found it is absolutly amazing how fast Lantac was answering his mails in order to sell me a rifle and how slow, obstructive and plain un-helpfull he became when the rifle turned out defective. We got there in the end but it took far more time, efforts and hassle than it should have been. Lantac will be my very last resort purchase point in the future.

Very surprised at your last point, there has always been very positive feed back on Lantac on this site!
