Thanks for all the welcomes! TM - it all seems OK to me, how long ago were you a regular? The range is gradually being improved although it's still as soggy as always!
I was a regular from about 1977 until 2002 or thereabouts. One time secretary some time chairman.
I took early retirement which meant I could shoot midweek at Bisley, thus did not need to spend Sundays hanging around waiting to shoot.
Soggy ? Sometimes Boar Hill resembled the Somme, especially before the range was rebuilt during the early 1990s and the drainage improved.
I have good memories of a time when shooting there was an easy going affair, lots of fun. It all got a bit more serious after the range was rebuilt and re-certified.
