Been wet tumbling for a lot of years now.
Have only used faily liquid or similar with nothing else.
Quick rinse under running tap, oven on at 70 for about 10 minutes with cases upright in old plastic 357 mag trays from factory ammunition.
Works great. Never seen the point of fancy recipes.
Cheers

I run two 7L Frankford Arsenal wet tumblers, one with the usual SS pins the other with 3Kg of 1.5mm SS ball bearings. Got those off Ebay for £15/Kg, now £19.99.
The ball bearings are excellent especially in 223 cases where they don't stick in the neck or bunch up inside the case.
Usual mixture, squirt of lemon washing up liquid and 1/4 teaspoon of citric acid, we don't have hard water but it seems to help.

I have a spare drum.....might give those BB's a go. Do they peen the top of the 223 neck much, or leave a ring round the bottom of the primer pockets?

Not that I've found, I don't do much 223 but both large and small primer pockets come out nicely, they're only 1.5mm.
