Out of interest, which size of media did you buy?

It's 1.2mm diam x 5mm long approx.......basically, just chopped up 1.2mm magnetic s/steel wire.

I use 1mmx1.5mm pins mixed with 3mm bb's they do smashing job. Also using 1200pro Layman tumbler for it :) works a treat :) Adding couple table spoons of baking soda, citric acid and fairy liquid to water, after 25-40 min, rinse well in deionized water and cases are like new inside and out, also primer pockets are clean.

why? what is the point in the baking soda? backing soda plus acid will make co2, adding the fairy liquid will make bubbles. all you are doing is asking the cap to pop off and not having to use warm water as you'll warm it yourself

again, why? the point of using citric acid is not to get spots, you should be able to just rinse in warm water and not get water marks.

Works for me, and they clean. When I using tap water always got stains after they dry up.

Assuming these pins are not sticking in necks or primer pockets, what primer pocket sizes and neck id (or bullet size) have you successfully used these pins with?

Quite so!
I use an ultrasonic cleaner purchased from Aldi, loaded with tepid water and baking soda.
This will clean lightly soiled brass inside and out in about 10 mins, heavily soiled brass takes about 30-45 mins depending how dirty it is.

Ultrasonic isn't very scalable though. Pins are, and if matched to the case there is no problem with pins sticking in mouths or pockets.

I've not had a major problem with them sticking in case necks or pockets, maybe the odd one or two per session. I shoot 223, 6BR, 6.5x47 and 6x47, all with small rifle primers.
I've previously tried ultrasonic and dry tumbling.....both work well, but I prefer to use the wet tumbler.
