Hi midnight

My advice, gleaned over a whole 6 months experience :G, is to go along to a local friendly club and try everything they'll let you.

I was dead set on 303 service rifle only until I tried BP rifle and pistol, target rifle and F-Class. Then the hard bit is choosing what you can reasonably ask for on your FAC and what the bank balance will stand. Have fun and don't be afraid to ask. I've found fellow shooters are very willing to help with advice, and this forum is a great place to learn.
