Hi and welcome to both the Full-bore forum and the world of shooting

Depending on what kind of stuff you want to do, you should be able to find a club near you.
if it's small-bore then look here

Not sure about full-bore clubs around you but there must be something, I'm sure someone will be along to help soon.

Pop in to what was Litts (Now sportsman's) in Newport or Keens guns in Aberkenfig (Both very close to you) and have a chat with them - they will be able to point you towards local club contacts - both are very friendly places.

Thanks for the welcome guys, I'm mainly interested in fullbore rifle although do like the look of black powder pistol and gallery rifle which I think they do at Tondu, don't mind travelling to Rogiet so have contacted Cardiff shooting club and am awaiting a response, would be nice to get up to the Sennybridge ranges a few times a year too.

I used to shoot at Llansilin ranges which is near Oswestry; is that near you? The club I shot with was an informal group and long gone but these guys seem to shoot there. http://www.offasrifleclub.com/ . Seems like they shoot at Sennybridge as well.

Hope that helps. I shoot at Altcar on Merseyside but that might be a bit far for you. Get in touch if it isn't.

I use Severnside range (Cardiff Shooting School) quite a bit and the owner Richard is a very friendly bloke as are the members.

Its only 200 yards max but a good little facility.

Maybe see you there soonish?
