Something like this? I will probably radius the dovetail into the rail as the image earlier on in this thread. I will need to get some bar stock in to suit as I have nothing like this other than in aluminium. Do you prefer bright mild steel or stainless?

Hi Dave
That drawing looks good . Having just measured the rifle and comparing it to the drawing on the rifleman site the overall length is 210mm .
A couple of pics of the rifle , a bit dull under artificial light .

In keeping with the imperial build shall we say 8.25" and .500x.250 section? I will PM you on this.
