Just joined - obviously ,been shooting for 50 years now most things over the years ,as I get older I find it more difficult to go stalking on the hill but rather let' em come to me !I do more target shooting now and foxing and smaller vermin.
looking for a rolling block or simliar in 45-70 to start serious blackpowder shooting .

Thanks to each and everyone glad to be here;¬)) I've come to the conclusion that as I grow older (wiser ??? ) I have to tailor my habits to my capabilities ,the one constant in my life has been shooting .It doesn't take much effort and the reloading is as much fun as the shooting.As my eyesight diminishes I have turned to optical sights and away from open ,so I can actually hit the target .I have sold most of my Enfield collection and turned to scoped rifles ,An excursion into BP rifles is under way and I will acquire one sooner than later ( gotta be economically priced ( cheap ) hence no Pedersolis at £1000 + .I will attend this forum regularly methinks and yes , I will be at the Wappenshaw this year ,as my sainted MiL says --- God willing.
