Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

Went over today to see Mike Norris from Brock & Norris to get my Remington 700 treaded for a muzzle brake. Just wanted to say what a fabulous gunsmith, talk about skill with a lathe, this guy is like a Jedi knight! He spend the time to talked me through the complete process from start to finish explaining each step, he even gave the rifle a total service in the process :good:

While I was there I thought I’d get some more work done and had a tactical bolt handle and some serious trigger work done too :shakeshout:

Just wanted to say if you need some quality work undertaking and your in the midlands area this guy is one of the best. You can see some of his work on youtube too

I've used Brock and Norris too. Excellent service, Mike threaded the barrel on my .270 to take a moderator.
His lathe work is superb with great attention to detail. He also fettled the trigger for me to reduce the pull force.
Well worth the 160 mile round trip.
