Any idea where I can get one from? Looked at Midway, Brownells and CMMG don't post here.

Why do you need one? Are your cartridges getting stuck part way in to the chamber?

I would have thought that forcing a rim fire round in to a tight or sticky chamber wouldn't be the wisest thing to do.

I don't think Brownells stock it but they will source parts from companies they deal with for you. Speak to Sandy in the intl dept at Brownells.
Arming the Country, one gun at a time.

Good deals with Paul101, Charlotte the flyer, majordisorder, Charlie Muggins, among others. Thanks everybody.

No, not having any issues. Would just like a functional forward assist :good:

Thanks, will get in contact with them tomorrow.

Vested interest in .22LR .357 9mm .223 .308 7.62x39 & 7.62x54R

Try LANTAC, however, for a .22LR its a completely pointless addition and something else to go wrong.

As Matt said, hammering on the side of a rimfire cartridge might not be the best idea in the world - so if you are not going to use it and no-one can see it - then isn't it a bit pointless...

Also as 22 semis are a fickle creatures anyway, adding more mass to a bolt can only slow it down potentially adding to any feeding/extracting/ejecting problems that you might have.

I'd save the few pennies they cost and go buy more ammo instead. :good:

Yes same as the one in my lantac CMMG, never used obviously, but works and a nice addition to have.
Better than some that has it for show only, and I'm sure much better when barrel swapped to .223

Never used but nice to have? Seems pretty pointless.

Well I wouldn't say that, seen some ar15 clones with a forward assist that does not even work, and there for aesthetic purposes only.
Mine actually works, but I suppose originally designed for a 5.56 round, due to failure of round extraction, they all have them.

Like our little finger, is it really needed, rather have it here than not
