FINALLY got myself a Spikes!

Drove up to NWcustomparts to collect my Spikes yesterday.

It's completely standard as I already have a load of parts to go on/in it (although I'll be getting more parts obviously tongueout )

Having a bit of an issue fitting a Knights Armament rail to it at the moment though. Can't seem to slot it in right.

Their website is currently down, how much is something like this? I'm pondering an M&P 15-22 or SIG 522 but this could be on the cards too. Since it's a "real" AR it'd be fun to upgrade over time.

£950 for the standard model (as in the pic)

That's not bad when you consider that a 15-22 performance edition is £850. I suspect if I want a free float hand guard and the billet upper and lower that'll get closer to £1500 though. I'd intend to get a .223 upper too though which should make it cost effective.

Congrats! Have you shot it yet? What are you planning to change on it?

Wayne sent me mine a few weeks ago and it shoots really nicely. I haven't really tried any other rounds yet, as the copper wash CCI tactical work so well, there's no need. I wasn't going to post a pic of mine until the scope arrived, but seeing as you have one too I'm sure you interested. Sorry for the poor quality pic.
