Question re FAC wording

#1 Post by zzr1100 »

If my FAC says .22rf in the firearm and ammo sections as opposed to .22lr, does that mean I can get a .22wmr ?

Yep, but feeding it can be expensive....

WMR is rarely under 25 quid a 100.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

when ever i put a variation in i keep it as open as i can so my rimfire are all .22 rifle my 308 is under 2 x 308/7.62 rifle , that way you can have a 308 bolt action and 7.62 x 39 strait pull ak like me :)

same with ammo keep it 22rf and 308/7.62 the more detail you put the more your limited , makes it harder if you change your mind about a gun

The only slight downside of .22WMR is some gallery ranges and Clubs have an energy limit that prevents anything above .22LR, guess it just depends what you want to with it really.
