European Lead Bullet Supplier

#1 Post by Sim G »

Anyone use a European supplier for lead bullets or know if their European supplier supplies such things. I'm looking for some .258" around 85-90 grains, .313" both 90 and 115 grains and some .358" over 200 grains. These all need to have a bullet shape that works in a tube magazine, so RNFP or SWC.

Casting is just becoming inconvenient. Midway UK have what I'm looking for, but not at those prices!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Rogers bullets are excellent, but, if he doesn't already have moulds for what I'm looking for, which I believe he doesn't have as we've spoken about these before, it's not a particularly viable venture for him.

I searched for cast boolits due to my local clubs restrictions. I found two suppliers. True flight which were rumoured to be out of business, but when I phoned the chap was helpful and able to supply. I ended up buying from shell house bullet co. as they were a little better with their production/delivery estimate (true flight quoted a month, shell house a week)..
