Euro arms opinions?

When i was picking up my new pistol I had a look at a used euroarms two band Enfield. It looked very nice. Is the euroarms made on the old parker-hale tooling? It looked like it had belonged to a shooter, blacked backsight and built up foresight. What are these like compared to a P-H? Should I wait for a decent made in uk Parker-hale?

theres a decent parker hale made in the for sale section and it comes with a higher front sight addon

The one in the for sale section is a musquetoon not the two band naval.

The original PH's are of better fit and finish and as such commend a premium price however the Euroarms are quiet serviceable and will give good shooting too.

Personally if I was wanting a shooter then I'd be happy with the Euroarms if the price is right second hand.

I have thought about a musketoon but think I would prefer the long infantry rifle. However my cabinet only has 51" throat hence the two band. The cabinet height also precludes the search for a Brown Bess too!

The P58 naval rifles are considered to be the best shooters as they have the faster rifling twist if 1 in 48.

If the rifle is sound and the twist is as it should be then I'd give the asking price for it.

An original S/H PH P58 in good nick would cost around £400-£500 which reflects the better fit, finish, barrels and relative rarity.
