BSA Martini International Mk2

#1 Post by breacher »

Need to make room on my FAC and in my cabinet for a SMLE so selling my BSA Martini.

The action is nice and tight. The barrel has been shortened to about 16" and screwcut. The rail was on it when I bought it so I dont know if it was a BSA factory item or aftermarket. The scope is a JSR "target plus" 6-24x44 and is in mint condition. The moderator ( Sak ) is NOT included - I have used it in the photo to give an impression of whag the rifle looks like with one fitted. The woodwork is sound but has been camo painted and there ard a few screw holes from swivel and pouch.

Exceptionally accurate - puts rounds all through the same hole at 30 yards. The trigger is fantastic !

Has to be worth £70 as a cheap truck gun for rabbits etc ? any????

Face to face only - Collection from Hemel Hempstead or I can deliver a reasonable distance for cost of petrol.

I so want this! Let me see if hobbsey still has a vacant .22 slot so he could hold it for a while...
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

I have to drop out. I can "borrow" hobbsey's vacant slot, but he can't make Phoenix due to work commitments. Looks like I'll have to bow out....

I'll pass too I'm afraid. Away all week on a course and just got too much to do before travelling to Bisley on Thursday.
