Hi from new member

#1 Post by buck52 »

I am a Deerstalker of some 20 years, both Recreationally & Professionally and own a .308 Sauer & a .204 which is my fox rifle.
I am a lifelong re-loader with a healthy interest in ballistics and more recently long range shooting, I never cease to be surprised as to how accurate a standard sporting rifle can be with the correct ammunition & optics.

I hope I will be able to contribute to Re-loading queries, Deerstalking practises & skills.
I regard myself as having a good working knowledge of Firearms & Ballistics.

Regards

Welcome to FBUK,

I totally agree with your comment regarding the accuracy of standard sporting rifles. I can certainly think of people shooting lightweight stalking rifles that return under 1MOA when shot off tree trunks, high stands and rucksacks as they usually send me the pictures!
