Fantastic experience. Having never visited before, I was welcomed by Richard in the gun room, and he then treated me as if I was one of his oldest and most valued customers.
Nothing was too much trouble, he didn't hard push anything on me even though it was clear that I was there to spend a chunk of change.
Knowledgeable, polite, friendly, welcoming. I really don't see how the whole experience could have been any more pleasurable!
They now have a customer for life. That's how good they were.

Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'
The Scotsgun Ruling:
>Add Gun Shop here<
"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."
Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!
This rule applies to the entire forum.

My apologies, it doesn't show on "An application", so after having it pointed out, I went onto 'webview' and saw it. I can't edit the post, so if admin could do it please...
Re: William Evans - Bisley
What's the difference between this chaps endorsement of William Evans, and the Suffolk guns thread, where a couple of guys give an equally positive review?

The response wasn't to the OP but to the following one which was removed as not being in the spirit of the Scotsgun rule, the poster who made it will know who it was directed to.

I often call in to WE on St James' in Central London. More often than not for a look around or something small, however the staff are always friendly and welcoming.
