Yes but when you say long barrel pistol, they seem to think your after a torus, that's why I said rimfire.

I'm curious does it have any improvements to the old one? I have a buckmark now and love it but was going to get a low mills jobbie and people love them.

Yes, quite a few.

Different counterweight
Different barrel shroud
Different slide, with an insert on the slide lock to prevent peening

Not seen the internals side by side with an early model. But by all accounts it's an improvement

True, but I do get good results with my buckmark with a red dot on.
