All from Albuquerque, NM
I want to say Allo to all my freinds on this board ... Adam, Joe, Dave and everyone else.
It has been a long time since I have talked to you all, Adam sent me a email to join this board so that we all could talk again about stuff and remeber the times we had when i was in England visiting you all. I still remember Joe shooting at that weasel in the country that got away, one lucky little feller
Well I am going to be official retired from the military on August 7 after 20 years of service and am right now on terminal leave with them so I have been growing a nice beard and moustache, it will come in handy with my WWI reenacting impression.
I have gotten back into that hobby a couple years ago and am enjoying it, it is RELAXING and just plain fun.
here is picture of me at one carrying my favorite rifle, the Fusil d'Infanterie Modèle 1886 Modifié 1893 dit 'Lebel' ....
I have got quite a few more French weapons for my collection.
I hope to contribute to this board as much as possible
Regards
Patrick

Welcome to the forum Patrick, I like the picture, how does the rifle perform?
Re: All from Albuquerque, NM
Welcome,
A rare photo of a French man without his hands in the air or carrying a white flag!
Look forward to hearing things from your prospective,
DM

Oh that particular rifle is my GEM, it is deadly at 500 meters, I can hit a human sized target 9 of 10 shots with it at that range.
The club I belong to here shoot long range all the time, we are now looking at shooting 1,000 meters as we are getting too good for 500 meter shooting LOL
Here is rare accessory for it .... Tromblon Vivien-Bessières (Grenade Launcher)
Ask Adam or Joe about me and collecting French stuff, they think I am NUTS LOL
OH MY ... that brings back memories ... COLD, COLD and just COLD LOL
That was fun times
