oakrise arms

Had a good experience with a gun shop or rifle maker? Found a good deal? Tell us about it. Had a bad experience, TELL THE GUN SHOP!

Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

Know nothing about them but their website has annoyed me already.

Website says "Rifles in stock NOW", "These rifles listed below are one-off special acquisitions that we could not pass up and are in stock now for immediate dispatch!" and "current stock"

Scroll down and 50% have "sold" next to them kukkuk

I have no affiliation with Oakrise whatsoever, nor have I purchased from them in the past - but 1600 quid for a new L1A1 is mightily tempting.

When I'm ready to get a FAL I'll certiainly give these guys a look - but without knowing the specifics of whatever bad dealings anyone has had none of us can form an opinion based on fact, all we can do is "caveat emptor" and purchase on a credit card for additional protection....

Anyone care to share anything specific and factual (that can't be considered libellous) ?
