What is in your shooting rest bags?
Hello all
I was wondering what people use for filling material in their shooting rest bags?
Any advice gratefully received

I used some pea gravel that I had left over from some work in the yard.norwichyarn wrote:I didn't think of that, sorry slightly dim moment on my part there!dromia wrote:Do a search, been well covered here.

I don't think it is a bad thing to ask the question, if everyone only ever used
the search function, well the site would be over.
All the information you could ever want is out there in print and on the net,
people ask questions on sites like this because they want the personal touch.
Old hands who have done it all and seen it all before will get board with mundane
questions, but what else is there? If you cut all the chat about all the mundane
stuff then you may as well pack up and give up.
IMHO the mundane should be encouraged, it is what might keep the site alive.

No one said not to ask the question.
It isn't an either or.
They can work together believe it or not.
We have more than our share of the mundane on here so we should be good to go for a long time by your reckoning.

Maybe your right, but a sure fire way to kill a conversation
is to take the time to type "do a search".

I find most people are not so sensitive, they see help when it is offered.

Maybe your right.
Maybe I'm too sensitive :)
I know I was offered loads of useful advise to most
of my inane questions.

Poly beads - available from ebay. They do the job, and no chance of them absorbing moisture.
Re: What is in your shooting rest bags?
Agreed I should have done a search but I thought it better to ask and also get people chatting, particularly being new here as well as new to shooting in general.
The Internet is a wealth of information but there is also a lot of rubbish online as well hence the reason I asked to join this forum to ask the questions to the people who care about our sport in the UK as things are very different in other countries.
