Webley Mk IV 38 latch spring, .38 S&W brass

#1 Post by anpol »

Hi,

1) Please do not treat this as a bait of any kind. I am aware of the current legal situation concerning short firearms, but if there are any stocks of spare parts for Webley revolvers and companies willing to sell? I need a replacement for my just purchaced (:-D, I mean: shakeshout ) Webley Mk IV 38 LATCH SPRING.

I either need a spring or just any information about possible places where I could purchase one. I hope this is not my one and only Webley piece and it's possible I will need some more stuff, eguy might not have that sort of thing.

2) I would imagine that once there were huge stocks of .38 S&W ammunition in existence in the UK. Am I too naive to think that some INERT casings are still obtainable?

Cheers

2) - Fiocchi still makes the ammunition. Rel-Com brass cases are also available. Last live .338S&W ammo I handled was a mixed batch of Kynoch & other brands at a show in Sweden. The gun with 200 rounds was about £40.
