My old Russian shotgun has developed a problem; the finger on the opening lever which throws the cross bolt has snapped off! Just wondered if anyone had a spare or knows where one could be obtained?
It's the same as the one a certain badger acquired recently

Baikal/Tula s/s 12g top lever
I have learned from my mistakes, and I am sure I can repeat them exactly - Peter Cook

Haven't made them since 1974 doubt you would get parts now. You could try York Guns, they used to import Baikals.
Had a broken forend on a Baikal O/U it was almost just as cheap to buy another S/H gun and keep the old one for spares which I did, especially as the forend from York Guns came oversize and had to be fitted, would probably be the same for your top lever if you ever found one.
You could also just pick up a Baikal S/S hammer less for 50-75 quid, they are very good.
