Parker Hale Enfield lock Plate side nails?
Any one know what thread the Parker Hale Enfield lock plate side nails are?
I have acquired some Enfield stamped locks but they are not threaded for the side nails and to get a suitable tap I need to know the side nail threads.
Anyone?

Im not sure what you mean by side plate nails. We have drawers and cupboards full of taps and dies. If you knew the proper size I could probably get them tapped for you.
If you have a spare side plate nail I could take it in to work and get it identified correctly.

It could also be 1BA, this has a nominal od of .209 and a tpi of 28.2. This would fit with Parker hale's penchant for really odd bollock thread sizes.

Thanks Dave, I can get a lock plate and couple of side nails to you, if you could get the plate tapped to fit the side nails then I would know the exact thread and get a tap for my self. The plates have the holes for the nails already drilled they just need threading.
