Mauser 105

#1 Post by Mdwysc »

Hi,
Anyone own a Mauser 105? It's a strange semi auto, fires from open bolt and the bolt hits all the way across the round so almost no failure to fires.
I have been offered one quite cheap. Just asking opinions on it.
Thanks

I am a big fan of the Mauser 105, fabulous little rifles and I have a copy of the manual if you need a copy.

Sounds good. I might go for it then. One of the things aparantly is the lack of mags for this rifle, do you know of a place I can get spares? If you could send me the manual that would be great. mdwysc@live.com
I see you are a member of grove and Barton road. Say Hi to Pat Doody for me, we were working together at the weekend.

Lack of magazines is always a problem however they do turn up from time to time, the real problem is always the price. Triggers are reasonably robust on the 105 however they work, also you will never have an issue with light strikes :)

I fairly sure I know Pat so I will keep an eye out for him next month.

Looks like a nice rifle, the sort of rifle that would occupy my vacant .22 slot just nicely!
