new member from north of scotland
Hi.
Just a wee note to say hello.
I stay in the north of scotland not far from the clubs below.
I recognise few folk on the forum and i am sure they will know me!
I am member of two clubs. Cawdor rifle club and Strathpeffer rifle club.
I am also a member of the Cawdor clay pigeon club but unfortunately do not have enough time to attend the clays as much as i would like!
My main interest with the clubs is FTR shooting ( savage FTR with new true flite barrel) but like most people on this forum have plenty of other rifles and guns to shoot.
I have two .223 rifles, savage accu stalker ( good machine for the foxs) and a southern gun company speed master. Both very accurate.
I am still working on a new load for my savage FTR with its new barrel, it is promising so far!
For my stalking a have a tikka 590 Continental 308.
it is magic rifle , would not swap it for anything! I bought it new with the last of the money i got when we had to hand in our pistols years ago.
I have just bought a Browning buckmark .22 LBP but i have not shot with it yet.
Also 4 shotguns. I have a browning ultra xs prestige and a winchester sx3 Flanagan. I really like the winchester , handles very good.
When i picked it up in the shop years ago , i said i must have this!
Cheers

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!
