Ickle Bits & Pieces

#1 Post by Zilberbak »

I can't be the only one that finds from time to time things break or get lost whilst cleaning or "accessorising" the question is where do people source their bits from. Most recently I had the e-clip go on my Sig522 at the buffer end and ended up buying a 100 piece various size e-clip box off of Amazon and to top it off lost the 1/8" washer from the other end of the return spring so back to Amazon and a 500 piece various size washer box. Don't get me wrong the cost of these boxes are less than a fiver but the majority of the pieces will never be used. I tend to trail the Net and find the model RC car sites useful. I am just wondering is there a better source specifically for .22's and the ilk.

Ebay, Ebay and did I say Ebay? :D
I get all little bits, nuts, screws, tools, e clips, washers, drills, steel bar, in fact everything off there and its usually all for peanuts delivered to your door. :good:

Also Amazon.co.uk and if you are a Prime member there is a good chance of the parts being delivered the following day.

Next time you are after the e-clip search the RC model car section - the 1/8 e-clip are used on HPI model cars
