Hi, could anyone point me to forums / resources devoted to match rifle as a specific discipline?
The search terms Match and Rifle are so common they throw up thousands of hits...
I am referring to long range (1000x +) with a .308 or as defined in NRA rules as Match Rifle.
Any suggestions appreciated. I have been shooting LR for a year or so now and have done one comp.
I want to learn more and get more involved.
Cheers,
Rich K.

There’s a section about it on the nra website. Google “nra match rifle” should be in first few results.

Although MR is high profile - it's the original long range experimental discipline - I'm not sure they have an online presence of their own. You will likely find some of them on FB on UK Fullbore Target Rifle, which has a much wider membership than its title would suggest.

I would think the best place to ask would be the UK Varminting forum.

Now the Bisley shooting season is getting well under way perhaps a trip to Bisley when a MR comp is on (NRA UK website) will give you some physical idea. I'm sure some of the shooters would be more than happy to extol the virtues of MR!!
