Are these a suitable size for case cleaning? All the pins I've used have been smaller than the neck ID to prevent pins wedging across the neck.Mattnall wrote:Proops Brothers do.
I can't see the difference between "Stainless Steel Media Plain Pin" and "Stainless Steel Cross Pin". Anyone know?
Some of them specifically state the dimensions vary, which would be a concern: "8mm approx (lengths vary)".
The pins I bought were 0.047" x 0.255" - chosen to balance cleaning performance with ease of separation. None have stuck in .308 brass.
They were £16.90 / Kg delivered to UK (inc taxes) for a 15 lb pack. Even the Lyman pins are only £22 / Kg here, making the Proops ones not much of a saving.
