Not something I do however I do follow some moorland groups and understand the implications from a ban.
This will be the thin end of a wedge aimed at all types of shooting.
This is from BASC:
POLITICAL UPDATE
The date has now been confirmed for a Westminster Hall debate on banning driven grouse shooting. On the 25th January, the Petitions Committee will discuss Wild Justice’s petition entitled “Ban Driven Grouse Shooting Wilful blindness is no longer an option”, this will be the first time since 2016 that MPs will formally debate the topic. BASC’s political team have therefore been urging MPs to join the debate and see off this damaging proposal, which decimate the rural economy, harm wildlife conservation and be detrimental to our heather moorland.

Deer Stalking… reliable word of mouth recommendation from someone you know has undertaken such stalking being offered by a specific syndicate is best. Like other walks of life, stalking has its scammers. E.G., make sure there is deer, of the species sought, on the land being made available; that appropriate insurance is in place; that there is recourse for recompense if it all goes wrong. In addition, obtain and understand terms and conditions; consider the implications of allowing a syndicate leader to be a FAC mentor; make sure ‘coaches’ are suitably qualified; consider the quality of deer management, the construction & execution of a shooting plan and safety; determine if the land is over-shot.
If in doubt, contact BASC or similar.
