Hello!

Just realised I forgot to introduce myself here. I joined just this week.

I'm a young shooter based in North West London, and my main interest is military service rifles designed between 1880 and 1940. I typically shoot at Bisley at distances of 100 to 300 yards with my club, the London Historic Shooting Club, of which I am the Treasurer.

I got started shooting with my University Club who mainly engaged in target rifle, but quickly realised my interest was elsewhere. I have a small collection of old service rifles which I may well share at some point if there is interest. I look forward to hearing from other like minded shooters.

We applied for approval in September and heard nothing. Tried emailing and calling any address and number we could find. No answer to our emails, and we were told the relevant department of the home office doesn't actually have a phone number. We reapplied for approval two weeks ago with the same online form. Nothing so far. Not particularly pleased given the ridiculous price hike of Home Office approval. It's too much to expect the level of service to increase in kind I suppose.

Hi
I renewed our home office approval last year. Not promising anything but I will have a look at my records and see if I can come up with anything that might help.
