Martini Henry

#1 Post by Ballistol »

Looking to buy a mk2 or mk3 Martini Henry in 577/450 in sound condition.

A friend said he saw a mk3 that had been completely refurbished for sale recently, but despite repeated trawls on t’Internet I cannot find anything that fits the bill.

Any pointers welcome as I realise these are increasingly hard to find.

Wilson55 has one in its upcoming auction. Looks to be in pretty good condition, albeit with added markings on the receiver. The only other I have seen recently is at JC Militaria but for £1200.

There are several MkIV out there at the moment. Be wary of the one Holts have as it has a crack in the stock at the wrist.
