Hi to all
I first shot a gun in 1972 with the ATC, in 1975 I got my RAF marksman with a 303, along with some bruises. In 1976 I went on a leadership course to Frimley Park where I was given GPMG and a big box of mags with blanks and told to keep the baddies at bay, that was my briefing on the gun, no one told me the rounds came out the bottom until upon doing so they burnt my hand. Such was the times. Later years I got a shotgun and started on the clays and now a few years on into full bore at North Cotes. What a cracking and relaxed place. Can't recommend it enough. So that's me in a nutshell..

Hello and welcome.
You don't see too many GPMG mags, should have kept them empties they're worth a fair bit now.

Re: Hi to all
I also started shooting in the ATC weren't to bad in those days.
Not much chance to ever get anything off the range as you had to make your declaration.
"I have no live rounds, misfires or empty cases in my possession sir".
Later changed to no live rounds or empty cases. Even had to check.each others soles for cases, and occasionally a search of pockets.
Mind you when you met the US on campus they would swap anything for a bit of blue kit.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!
