Zeroing a No32 scope

Has anybody got advice regarding the use of a the appropriate tool to zero a Mk1 No32 scope, please...???

YES!

Two ways of doing this, you can use the No32 Mk1 'tool' which requires three hands and a knee and is quite hit and miss or you can use what I use. I built myself what is best described as an allen key shaped bar slotted at one end. What I do is slacken the outer lock ring off very slightly so the inner adjuster can now be moved but with some resistance using my home made adjusting tool.

Now get the rifle hitting what you are aiming at, hold the inner adjuster in place with the key and rotate the outer ring to either zero if it is windage or your chosen distance if it is elevation. Take another shot to confirm it still goes where you aim.

Now hold the inner adjuster in place with the home made key and nip the lock ring up, it does not need to be cranked up tight, just enough to hold it in place. I use a modified set of pointed nose pliers for this action however I am sure something can be easily made to do this.
