Enfield cutaway.

#1 Post by redcat »

Been talking to a guy who has what he describes as an armourer's model Enfield (No. 4?) which is cut away to show the workings. Is this a desirable piece?

I would like it, if only because it would fit in my Enfield collection.
Arming the Country, one gun at a time.

Good deals with Paul101, Charlotte the flyer, majordisorder, Charlie Muggins, among others. Thanks everybody.

Be wary. There are a lot of faked ones out there and their legal position is dubious at best.
At the Vickers Collection we have one but hold it as a Sec5 handgun as the barrel is still intact and it will fire

Be aware - and unbelievably- the SKN can come under Section 5 rules and regs if it hasn’t been deactivated and have the certificate of proof. I am aware of one offered on another site that didn’t have a ticket. Buyer beware……

Just a follow up - had a chat with my friendly FEO. They would view the SKN, unless deactivated, as a Section 5.

Buyer beware
