20yd standing lever action anybody?

#1 Post by 1066 »

Does anyone else here shoot NSRA standing 20yd centrefire? I've not been able to do a lot of shooting for the last year, so easing myself back in to it. I managed to get a very quiet morning at the local range and shot four 25yd NSRA Benchrest match cards, for 100.5, 99.4, 100.3, 100.4 (Not official score) and, as they were only practice cards, I'll award myself a 98 and a squeaky 100 on the 20yd standing with my .357 Winchester lever action. (Hand cast 158gn bullet with a low load of Unique) So feeling quite satisfied really, and still able, at 75, to give some of the youngsters a run for their money.
