Well, perhaps not twin brothers but definitely brothers from the same family. :ugeek:

Took my my Steyr M95 to the range today specifically to compare groups with bayonet fixed and dismounted and seeing as Droomie had a M95/30 along to try out with his latest batch of 8X56R i took the oppurtunity of a few comparative schnaps.

I am sure one of our forum members in particular will be interested in seeing them.
I also shot a video but i'll post that up later.

Group in photograph was shot with the Carbine M95/30.

We were shooting standard military ball.

POA moved to the right if I recall correctly.

Some very good looking rifles there and some fine shooting as well. I always like the look of that range so it is a shame you men are so far away from us middle Englanders

Very happy! I'll be happy to hit the target the first time I shoot it. Posting cheque tomorrow - looking forward to getting my hands on it when you bring it up. Don't bother wrapping it for Christmas - I wouldn't be able to wait the extra few days! :lol:

BTW, I understand that the battle sights are apparently set for 500m :!:
So how low where you aiming at 100m or is my information wrong?
Regarding, the ammunition, what was the country of origin? Joe has told me that the Bulgarian ammunition can be fairly stout when it comes to recoil - not that it really matters - just curious.

Shopping list for next year now includes bayonet and pouches! :lol:
