'Morning Nick, welcome to F-B(UK) and the world of reloading, the 22-250 is a handy cartridge, are you using it for foxing?

It will mainly be used as a foxing rifle, although it will not be shy

Hi Nick, welcome to FBUK.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

What weight bullet are you using? The norm round here seems to be to use something in the 55-65 grain range as quickly as possible however I have always wondered how the 22-250 would work with an 80 grain bullet and a faster twist, with Lapua now doing 22-250 brass it might be worth a look and would not be hugely different to some of the 22-6,5x47 offerings apart from primer size and shoulder angle.

I will be using 55gr Noslers with Nosler Custom Brass.

A friend of mine used to run 69's in his AI with good results.
