FUNGUNNERS and possibly others

#1 Post by John25 »

FUNGUNNERS, an alternative to other groups of shooters who meet at Bisley; seems to be taking off.

I convieved it merely as a follow up to my 'Target Leech' post, as a means of getting myself, primarily, and other like minded shooters on to the firing point more often.

On this theme, I have suggested to an NRA trustee that mid week Range Charges and Accommodation charges (if booked concurrent) be Reduced mid-week.

If this suggestion is persued, and in the event that I was asked to produce some figures/names to support my suggestion, would you support such a move in principle?

Iif you could start your response with a simple yes or no (put your reasons later in your response) I can meet my trustee in a couple of weeks with I have 'X per cent in favour/against.

I have a few other 'stupid' ideas, thwarted whilst a member of staff, which I would like to get going, let's see what happens with this first, after all, like mister (can't say the name because I'm scared of being threatened with legal action) * who thought I was useless, you may feel the same!

Mid-week is no good for me (not yet anyway...) - but an excellent idea for others...and a good way to get more people to Bisley mid-week :good:

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Yes,

If it became a regular thing - I would make the trip down once a month or so just to shoot in good company and for no other reason.

Mike

ps - that would give me a good reason to part with my money and actually join the NRA - instead of just using BASC or my club to book a range
