You can subscribe to a site called Twitter (Tw@tter as Christel refers to it..) found here:

Think of a user name and enter your mobile phone number and you are now set up to receive feeds (text messages) Now find someone/something you like using Twitter and subscribe to it and you receive text updates of new posts. You can select the times you want to receive the information as well.

The F-B(UK) feed is all done automatically by things that visit this site, take information from specific areas only and then pass it to Twitter automatically so no human intervention is required.

It has a few followers already including Nosler bullets and an African safari magazine

No point in something sending things to my phone anyway I never turn it on as when I do people just ring me on it.

Most irritating!

I am with you Adam I got a Black berry for xmas no idea what to do with it it will never get used.
I have hid it in a drawer up stairs hope fully they will just assume I am using it.
