I have a 452 silhouette and it is a fantastic piece of kit, accurate as hell and has done me well in sport rifle competitions

I have this exact rifle, and am extremely pleased with it. :good:

It looks like a normal CZ, and let's face it, they shoot well enough, but this takes it up another notch.

I usually refer people to this review if asked about it, where Laurie says it in much more detail.

I have the 452 American and that is super accurate, a nice piece of kit and looks like you can alter the trigger according to the manual.

Just come across another one of these fine rifles, which reminded me of the discussion we had in 2011.
Unfortunately, the excellent review from Laurie Holland which you could access via the link no longer works.
Does anyone know where the target sports magazine media moved to, or perhaps someone in the know could even ask Laurie if a copy still exists somewhere in the ether.

Thank you.

I have a 452 American and I maintain that it is the nicest bolt action to manipulate in the world. The satisfaction that comes from racking the bolt in between each shot can't be beaten. And super accurate in "normal" gun terms (can't get anywhere near my Walther KK300 but that's a dedicated match rifle). Running a 25 round magazine through it as quickly as possible (35-40 seconds or so), I can typically hold a 50mm group at 25 yards. Being more precise it will hold 1MOA or less.

Thanks to all who replied, I’d have never found the information you’ve provided.
Anyway, the rifle has been reserved, I’ll do a little range report when I pick it up and test it 👍🏻
