Schutzenfest's Newest member.

This past weekend we had our fall shoot.
Being about half the size of our big spring Schutzen, it is very informal, and laid back.
No compitition just shooting fun.

Willie brought out his daughter Layla and her .22 (4 years old)

She has just finished tearing up the turf right in front of her target.(20ft)

Burner, great stuff mate. Our three lads all started out at around that age, first with BB guns then later with .22's. By the time they were around eight years old all three of them were comfortably shooting my 22-250 and 308's. Get them and teach them while they're young worked for me and my three lads.

You should see Her cycle that bolt.
In a few years She will be ready for a Mad Minute drill.
Also in a few years we will take out the single shot follower and actually let her feed from the magazine.
