Safe Shooter Certificates

#1 Post by dromia »

Have these been sent out to the clubs yet, anyone got theirs.

Three of my NRA affiliated clubs that I've asked have heard nothing from the NRA for this year.

I've got a military range shoot on the 29th and I will need my card for that as will all the other members of the club.

My club has them apparently as some club members have received them but we have not seen ours yet despite prompting the secretary by email. We are also shooting on MoD land end of month so I hope they turn up soon.

The NRA membership cards were renewed on the 15th by DD so should come end of this week or early next week.

SCC's are also on their way, they are busy getting all the cards out.

Ovenpaa and I have not got them yet despite some from the same club has had the SCC for weeks, we were told they have gotten lost in the post so waiting for the next ones.

I think for everybody who has not got their cards, whatever card that may be, it is a good idea to contact the issuing body and ask.

We are all going to be needing our card soon due to the shooting season starting again.

The certification renewal forms were sent out by email and post (those emails that bounced were posted) in October 2010.

We are completely up to date on returns and are turning them around in 24-48 hours depending on whether they are filled out correctly.

Please contact your club secretary in the first instance as quite a few have admitted to not acting on the renewal straight away 'as I had plenty of time' and then forgot!

Been onto 2 of my clubs secretaries who say they have received nothing from the NRA but are chasing the matter up.

Just checked with my club secretary again and he is adamant that he's had nothing, must be the north south thing again.
