Hi, all.
I'm not sure if this is "known" history, or not, but I found it really interesting when I found out about it.

In the 1930s the US knocked together a plan for waging war with us, the British Empire. Probably because, back then, we were in the habit of smacking around, and taking over the lands of Jonny Foreigner whenever we fancied some new, exciting foreign product in our shops.
Or maybe it was "just in case", as all countries have "just in case" plans, Hell, we have one about what happens if a zombie outbreak hits the UK... zzzzom
Still, interesting stuff if you've never heard of it before.
I'm surprised Harry Turtledove hasn't written a novel about it. tesnews

British bombers flying in from Canada were taken into account in the design of some of the buildings Henry Ford built into the Rouge manufacturing complex that were erected pre WWII.
We have some places in the mill that could take 1000 bombs all day long and still stand strong.
Henry Ford truly beleived that the US would side with Germany and go to war with England.

Ford plants in Germany produced thousands of vehicles during WW2. Then again there were hardly going to shut the doors for the duration.
It was multi-polar world and staffs as today spend the day making plans and playing what if.
