Tell them its part no 2704811

Should only cost a couple of quid plus postage

Thanks Karen - I had the part number but didn't think to post it. I contacted Walther directly on Monday to ask about that part but still no word. I'm guessing that it's unlikely they'll have any, as they've dropped the G22 from their range.

Shouldn't be difficult to get made or do myself! fingerscrossed

Shooting them is fine - but then comes the cleaning....

Walther managed to find the two smallest springs in existence, then fitted them in such a way that they will ping off if you ever strip your gun for cleaning. A quick-release 4x scope helps to find them again...
From what I've read those springs aren't really necessary - but I haven't tested that theory myself! :o
Whenever I clean mine I tape the springs in place, which does the job for me! I'm going after rabbits with it on tomorrow, after I give it a clean I'll leave those springs out and let you how it goes the next time.

Sim,
You sound like me! Yes, they can be frustrating but not overly so. I mainly like them because -
1) They're a bullpup, which reminds me of my Steyr I had in the RAAF
2) Everyone else "knows" that they are crap!

If something is going to get me interested in a rifle it's the general opinion that it's no good. I find get pleasure in going :55: to that sort "known" fact!
