DID plan to move there a little while back; spent a month at Gun City in ChCh, but by the time I'd come home the job situation had changed. Pity, esp. as I left a couple of leatherwork machines with one of the staff there...should have mailed the buggers home or brought them on the plane. RARE they were...
Nice laws in NZ. Very civilised, & not just for firearms - most of what I saw seemed to have common sense as the prime motivation as opposed to "better be seen to be doing the right thing"
Was looking forward to getting stuck into the grunters with my 45LC & doing same target work with the rifle club there, plus of course adding to the licence for a couple or three pistols, or even F category in sue course.
Brought a very nice moderator back with me from Robbie Tiffin at GunWorks. Need to sort out a few more from him as everyone that sees it is impressed. He's a nice chap & has a great workshop in his garden.
