I never actually bought any! The FLO reckoned I only needed 300 as it was expensive and I'd rarely be able to afford to buy more. I argued that it was 54R I wanted and would likely buy loads when I had the chance.

You need that taken off your FAC ASAP and if you're a member of a shooting organisation, you should get them to contact your FLD for some re-education 5mith

As I said, that must equate to S1 shotgun cartridges other than slug. That's how I would treat it. If you have an RFD who insists otherwise, gently point him in the direction of the legislation and the guidance and if he continues to act otherwise in accordance to that, give him a wide berth, for frankly, how does he then conduct the rest of his business?

But that aside, I'd leave that on there. You can acquire a certain type of ammunition rarely encountered! :good: shakeshout
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

I just spoke to South Yorks Firearms and they said it must have been a mistake and if I send it in they'll take it off :D
Might leave it on as you say Sim, see what's out there :D

Next set of rest days Ill look to see how 4 or 5 .45 cal balls fit in cartridge.

Or one .50 and a couple of three .45....!!

Rest days?

There's species of bats that spend less time with their feet up than you do!

And like a bat, I tend to be at work whilst you're asleep..... Or whilst you're waiting for the free view 10 minutes of the satellite channels at the opposite end of the Sky box spectrum...
